WEDDING CEREMONIES

Imagine your dream wedding ceremony – heartfelt, personalised, and reflecting the unique love story that brought you together.

As your celebrant, I can turn that vision into reality. I craft beautiful, bespoke wedding ceremonies that capture the essence of your love and commitment, ensuring a celebration that’s both meaningful and unforgettable.

If you are looking for a celebrant who can create a ceremony that is both meaningful and joyous for everyone involved. Who is professional and committed to making you happy, without comprises. Someone who specialises in all types of ceremonies.

I am the celebrant who is willing to travel anywhere whether that be on a beach wedding, on top of a mountain, aboard a boat or at a destination wedding. My favourite type of ceremony is personalised and meaningful to you. I want to help couples create a ceremony that reflects their unique love story and their values, a ceremony which is fun and engaging for their guests too.

Areas covered Scottish Borders, Northumberland,  Lothian and beyond. I will never turn down a road trip.

Legalities

Regarding the legal aspects of your wedding/partnership, as an Agnostic Celebrant, I can apply for authorisation to conduct the legal aspects of your ceremony three months prior to your ceremony date. Agnostic Scotland has been approved as a provider of legal weddings by the National Records Scotland Office so this application is a formality and it should be a straightforward process. Please note that the Registry Office and not the Celebrant, manage this process with you.

The requirements for you both, once authorisation is granted, would then be :
– You must complete your marriage or civil partnership Notice to the Registrar at least 29 days prior to your ceremony date (but earlier is better).
– Before your wedding day, you must collect the marriage/CP Schedule from the Registry Office and bring this to your wedding. The legal aspect of the ceremony can not go ahead without the Marriage/CP Schedule.
– As part of your ceremony, we can then include the signing of the Marriage/CP Schedule. This requires the signature from two witnesses over the age of 16 and you both.
– Following the ceremony, you must return the Marriage/CP Schedule to the Registry Office within 3 days for them to officially register the Marriage/CP.
– Additional requirements are needed for non-British residents.
