Something new in July – a Wedding

It was a very damp month that’s for sure.

I did however manage to experience lots of new place and activities.

I officiated a wedding at Friars Carse near Dumfries. What a stunning location – it was very nearly my 1st outdoor wedding but the Scottish weather had other ideas. I met a brilliant photographer Raymond and his wife who together make up R&D photography Grenta Green weddings.

It might not have been my 1st outdoor wedding but it was my 1st multifaith wedding. Emma and Jamie travelled from Oman, they wanted to include handfasting to honour Jamie’s Scottish heritage and the best man read an extract from the Qur’an.

It was an intimate ceremony with heaps of laughter and a ton of love.
